OOD #5: Kamado-san Donabe

02/01/2010

With the new year intention to be more mindful and healthy with food and cooking (Yes! I shall create yummy homemade meals 3x/week to start!??!), I am coveting this donabe – Japanese clay pot. This Kamado-san is made by Nagatani-en in Iga, Japan. Each pot is carefully handcrafted and takes 2 weeks to make. It’s the exact cauldron I’ve been looking for to turn every morsel into delicious fluffy rice!

Available at Toiro from Naoko Moore… she seems very sweet.
